Today marks just 50 days until #Walk4Arth begins!
On 26th July, Andrew, Chris and George will set off on an epic 7-day, 150+ mile journey on foot from Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol all the way to Mawgan Porth Beach in Cornwall, in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust in memory of Arthur.
We're also delighted to share some exciting news. In a fitting tribute, we'll be starting the walk from Arthur's Bristol Bears season ticket seat at Ashton Gate Stadium! We'd love to see as many people there as possible to give us (and Arth) a proper send-off. We've now created a Facebook event for the challenge, so please let us know if you'll be there by marking yourself as interested.
The 50-day milestone brings another reason to celebrate too — thanks to your incredible generosity, we've now raised more than £3,000!
Training continues, with plenty of miles going into the legs as we prepare for the challenge ahead. We've also been overwhelmed by the support we've received. From designing our #Walk4Arth t-shirts free of charge, to offers of accommodation along the route, and even a podiatrist volunteering to keep our feet in walking shape, the kindness shown has been truly amazing.
Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, supported and encouraged us so far. With 50 days to go, we're more motivated than ever.
